About Me
Hello, I am Dr. Naved, your teacher for NEET/XI/XII online biology classes. I have Ph.D in Biochemistry and post-doctoral experience in cancer biology, both from U.S.A. I have 30+ years of overall teaching experience, and have taught biology to many XI and XII students for them to qualify NEET. As a Teaching Assistant in U.S.A., I taught the concepts in biochemistry to American medicine students. As Scientific Consultant for India and Asia-pacific region in various companies, I have taught concepts in genomics and life sciences to the sales team. I discovered my passion for teaching in my Masters in Biotechnology programme, where I taught Biosciences to Bachelor’s students.
Biology in pictures is the core mantra for my teaching, which is visually rich with diagrams. This greatly simplifies concepts in biology for my students. You can watch and read about my teaching approach in the next section.

My Teaching Approach

Heavy reliance on text.
This leaves a vacuum in student’s understanding of tough terms and concepts.
ResolutionDiagrams rich visual approach.
Biology in pictures along with its supporting text is the best way to simplify tough terms and understand concepts.
Disjointed learning experience.
The student is forced to hop between lecture slides and NCERT text, trying to connect them.
ResolutionWell rounded learning experience.
A slide is mirror copy of NCERT content (header, text, diagram). For this NCERT content, its supporting explanation (text and diagrams) is on the same slide, streamlining the understanding of concept.
One size fits all approach.
A single diagram and text is used to explain the entire concept, with all individual tough words not necessarily explained in the process. This leaves gaps in student’s understanding, forcing one to memorise the entire concept and sacrificing conceptual understanding.
ResolutionCustom approach with clear conceptual understanding.
Every tough word in an NCERT sentence is tagged with a numbered marker, resulting in many markers in few lines from the book. Each of these markers representing a tough word is explained with its own supporting diagram and text, on the same slide as NCERT text. So, every word and every sentence in NCERT is explained to build a strong foundation with clear understanding of concepts.
Tests, quantity over quality.
Test focus is on quantity with many filler questions from out of NCERT topics, which add bulk to the test without adding quality. Similarly, tough questions may be mis-interpreted as premium content, but may actually be irrelevant to the actual NEET pattern.
ResolutionTests strictly restricted to NCERT and PYQs.
You will face every question from NEET tests and re-tests since 2013, plus my own questions which are strictly NCERT based, with words lifted as is from every line in NCERT. Solutions are also provided with slide number from my lecture for not only the right answer but also for each option in the question, so that you can precisely map all the options to NCERT text.
Guesstimate for out of NCERT questions.
The student’s anxiety for out of NCERT questions leads to their over-compensation by reading of extra/irrelevant topics.
ResolutionPrecise mapping for out of NCERT questions.
Additional text and diagrams are strictly restricted to explain out of NCERT questions from NEET PYQs, economising the student’s time with only test relevant information. This additional text tailored to NEET PYQs is written in blue colour to clearly distinguish it from the black NCERT text.
Tough English words…
Well, tough luck !
ResolutionEnglish without the anguish.
Tough English words are explained in a few simple words in red colour, right next to the tough word. Also, unfamiliar scientific names have their common names and/or their Hindi names written right next to them along with a supporting diagram for easy recall.
